General Description: Fast track course to becoming a contributing, confident crewmember on sail or power boats! This one-day course will introduce you to nautical terminology, safety equipment, use of onboard marine systems, docking procedures, line handling, seamanship. Learn how to speak the lingo, help your Captain look good, and enjoy your time onboard!
General Description: Able to sail a 22 feet sailboat in light winds and sea conditions in familiar waters with minimum supervision. A preparatory standard with no auxiliary power or navigation skills required. This course is designed for the novice who wishes to get a good sound basis and a level of confidence before tackling the intensive requirements of more advanced courses.
